Community Counseling By Referral

We meet your families where they’re at right now and help them get to where they want to be. They determine their goals, and we’ll help them get there. 

Community Counseling is a program designed to bring clinical interventions to meet the needs of clients in their homes. Most clients with Medicaid coverage are eligible for these services. Our clinical team is versed in a variety of trainings and clinical strengths to meet the needs of clients. 

In addition, CHS uses family-centered approaches. We encourage clients to include their family and friends so that they can learn how to build and embrace healthy connections that will help them regain control of their lives. 

Our counselors are prepared to help clients build on their strengths so that they can learn to cope with their experiences and overcome many of the symptoms associated with trauma, including: 

 Depression 

 Anxiety 

 Nightmares 

 Numbness 

 Avoidance 

 Excessive Sleep 

 Not being able to sleep 

 Racing thoughts 

 Remembering a painful event
